Who says you can't teach Old Dogs new tricks? Robin Williams and John Travolta are the old, single "dogs" in question, reveling in great chemistry as lifelong pals who've together grown a successful marketing empire--but who have somehow managed to avoid ever really growing up. The cast, featuring Travolta's real wife, Kelly Preston (who, with costar Rita Wilson, reveals just how fine a comedian she is, and how the screen really sparkles when she's on it), and his real-life daughter Ella Bleu, is top-notch. Other great performances include Bernie Mac, a sultry Lori Loughlin, Matt Dillon, and a dynamite Seth Green as a mini-mogul in training. The plot revolves around the Old Dogs' suddenly needing to care for twin 7-year-olds (the heretofore unknown children of Williams's character, Dan) and finding that they learn as much from the kids as vice versa. Moans Dan to Travolta's Charlie, after awkwardly tucking in the kids for the night at Charlie's bachelor pad, "I just shook hands goodnight with my daughter." Old Dogs is a fun family film that's appropriate for ages 8 and up, with enough jokes and great timing to please grownups too. --A.T. Hurley

awesome move. this movie a lot like wild hogs in many ways. travolta and williams are both amazing actors and porive it again with there performances. they play partners who are successfull business men who of course are older people. robin williams, after meeting a woman, later finds out the he now has two kids thet are going to get in the way of there lifestyle and new business adventure in japan. this movie provides lots of laughs for all ages with everything that hapens in there new lives as parents. i highly recomend this movie. it also provides a great cast.

This is a movie with the feel of an old fashion Disney movie, but designed for the modern expanded definition of family. Seven years ago Robin Williams got divorced. His buddy, John Travolta takes him to South Beach where Williams meets a girl, gets drunk, gets married, then has it annulled. However Williams still has feelings for his one night wife and after 7 years writes her a letter. They meet and he finds out he is the father of her two children. Through a series of circumstances, Williams agrees to watch his estranged kids for 2 weeks. Travolta aids Williams as they attempt to play dad with disasterous results. The jokes are a bit trite and much of the humor is slap stick. Most adults will find something to enjoy in the film while they watch it with their kids. The theme of the movie is that friends, love, and family are the most important things in life and together we can work through anything.

This DVD arrived in perfect condition and rather a fast delivery. I would always buy from this seller in the future. The movie is nothing buy laughs. Great cast. Perfect family movie that will make all just laugh so much. Good to buy with this seller and also about the lowest price on the market.
